Changes at thINK!
After a couple of years of very busy growth and development at thINK, life changed! One of our inspirational and skilled Founding Partners started a new business, which quickly took over his time. Kurtis has moved on - we will miss his good humour, skill at negotiating and general enthusiasm. Kurtis is the proud new owner of the Rumble Gym West 85th Ave, a gym suiting Kurtis’s character: it’s a fun, high-intensity way to work out. Natalia has also shifted her role in thINK, and will now be acting as a Senior Architect to the Team, while she manages her engagement in architectural practice with a national firm in Calgary, a broad range of projects. We are happy that Natalia is remaining with thINK even as she has gotten busier. We very much appreciate her continued guidance and insight. She is always keen to be involved with EnerPHit and Passive House projects.

Kevin D Brown, MEDes(ID), CPHD, CPHT
Principal
With broad experience in Passive House design and construction, including project management, design of assemblies and both specification and installation of components for certified and uncertified buildings, Kevin is well placed to be thINK’s Construction and Sustainability Principal. Academic work in Industrial (Product) Design, architectural history, and heritage building restoration enrich his skills. Envisioning, designing and installing to the high levels of quality and craft that his work has always entailed, he is now focused on providing Passive Houses for as many people as he possibly can. Kevin is also an instructor with Passive House Canada.
Natalia Coto, Architect, AAA, CPHD, CPHT
Senior Advisor, Architecture and Design
Calgary based, Alberta registered architect with international background, experienced in all phases of design for a variety of project types, and committed to sustainable and energy efficient architecture.
A firm believer that by following the principles of the Passive House standard, more comfortable, resilient and healthier buildings and communities are possible.
Natalia is pursuing architectural practice as a part of the team at Zeidler Architecture, Calgary. As a Senior Advisor, Natalia remains available for helping to guide our activities.
